Kim has nearly two decades of experience in the mortgage industry and joined Shelter Home Mortgage in 2015. She is a Loan Officer with Shelter’s Intown Team which received Shelter’s President's Award for the last two years, as well as the MBAG Diamond, Platinum, or Gold Awards for multiple years, honoring loan originators who have demonstrated excellence in their field. Kim herself was the individual recipient of the MBAG Gold Award in 2015.
Kim was born and raised in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, the little town famous for FAME Studios. Kim attended Auburn University where she majored in civil engineering. After spending five years working in the engineering field, Kim embarked on her mortgage career.
Kim currently lives in Atlanta. She loves riding her bike, Cyclocross racing, CrossFit, and spending time with her family and dogs. She also has a passion for rescuing and caring for animals in need.
