Mark "Vann" Vann, the Executive Vice President of Production at Shelter Home Mortgage, LLC, has built a successful career marked by his passion for people and sales. His journey began in Carrollton, GA, in 1996 when he entered the construction industry. His natural affinity for connecting with others and his sales acumen soon became apparent.

Vann transitioned to the mortgage sector in 2010 with Poli Mortgage and joined Shelter Home Mortgage in 2012. After a stint with Fairway Independent Mortgage starting in 2016, he returned to Shelter Home Mortgage in 2024 to assume his current executive role.

Raised in Gainesville, GA, Vann graduated from North Hall High School in 1991. He continued his education as a student-athlete at Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, GA, where he played basketball and earned an associate degree in 1993. He then completed his bachelor's degree in finance at West Georgia College in Carrollton, GA, in 1996.

Vann resides in Douglasville, GA, with his wife, Tysha, and their two college-aged sons, Mason and Adler. Their family also includes four beloved dogs: Barley, Baeleigh, Oakley, and Ellie. Vann and Tysha's daughter, Kamryn, is fondly remembered as being with Jesus.

In his leisure time, Vann enjoys outdoor activities, running, weekend getaways with Tysha, playing golf, and spending quality time with his dogs. The couple is actively involved with Passion City Church’s Cumberland location.
